One night this week while walking the dogs we came upon a Care Bear along the side of the road. Our dogs sniffed it out and then our boy dog Oscar took it by the arm and carried it home. He looked so cute with a big pink bear in his mouth walking down the street.
Now Cheer Bear has a new home with us and when we say to Oscar, “Where’s your Care Bear?” he goes and finds it. How cute it that?
I used to love the Care Bears. I’m glad the dogs like it, but I can’t help but think of the poor little kid who lost his or her Cheer. The kid is probably home crying while Oscar and Chyna drool all over it.
My Care Bear was Tenderheart. He was brown with a heart and rainbow on his belly, I believe. I, too, am sad for the little one who may have lost her bear.
Do you remember which one I had? I think it was blue. Oh wait, I think my My Little Pony was blue. Maybe they were both blue! I’m blue because I can’t remember.
I may have left out the part where Tom wanted to look around for the child that may have lost the Care Bear. And I may have left that part out because I was all, “No way, it’s Oscar’s now.”
Whenever my son has a trouble sleeping, care bear is there to help
Don’t think about the little one who lost the Cheer. Think of it this way – Oscar is a hero – he rescued a homeless bear in distress!!
I guess we shouldn’t think of that careless kid who didn’t give a crap about the bear, leaving it homeless.
