19 AugYet another

This is yet another first for me. Earlier this week I had my first real time post. Tonight is my first drunk post. Yes, we are talking a lot of wine. Sara and I both drink wine. One of us drinks white and one of us drinks red. So what is my color? What is Sara’s color? Who’s who in this latest and first ever Dirt Girl poll?

  1. Erin says:

Liz is white and Sara is red. Do I win a bottle of wine for answering the poll correctly?

  2. Sara says:

Erin, will a sour cream coffee cake do? There’s always booze around that you can drink with it. Some coffee with Baileys perhaps? See you at my house for treats!

  3. Erin says:

It’s a deal! I actually have a bottle of red here (Little Boomey (as in boomerang)), but there’s a serious lack of sour cream coffee cake.

  4. Sara says:

And there will continue to be a lack of sour cream coffee cake, because when my mom read this, she asked me, “are you making the sour cream coffee cake?” And we all know the answer to that: No. No I’m not.

  5. Paul says:

Erin, how’s the Little Boomey red? Shiraz, merlot? I sell the Little Boomey chardonnay at my store, cool label, it catches people’s eye.

  6. Erin says:

Little Boomey is pretty tasty. I’m currently drinking the merlot, although I’d like to get the shiraz to see how it compares to Yellow Tail. Probably pretty similar, I would imagine. I’m a sucker for fun labels. Little Penguin, Twin Beaks, all that stuff.

  7. Paul says:

Yes, try the shiraz. They also have some blends, shiraz/cab, etc. Try Black Swan and Alice White also. For a step-up in Australians, try Rosemount Estate. For fun labels, try Three Blind Moose.

  8. Yeah, I’m definitely going to go with Liz-white and Sara-Red….but

    p.s. Liz I think you’re totally a martini girl [don't hide it]

  9. Sara says:

Blonde thing, she’s a margarita girl. Haven’t you read “Meet the Dirt Girls?”
